Albany Community Land Trust Gun Violence Prevention Program
Albany Community Land Trust – Gun Violence Prevention (ACLT-GVP) works to prevent and reduce gun violence by supporting youth, families, and communities impacted by violence and justice-system involvement. Through youth development, mentoring, family engagement, workforce development, mental health and wellness support, victim advocacy, community outreach, and partnerships, ACLT-GVP connects individuals with the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to build safer and more stable futures. Our community-based approach focuses not only on responding to violence, but also on addressing the conditions that contribute to it and strengthening the people and communities most impacted.
