We are a faith-led movement that tackles the root causes of gun violence by strengthening neighborhood stability, expanding economic mobility, and cultivating dignity and opportunity. Through coordinated presence, prevention, and pathways, we unite partners across the Capital Region to deliver scalable, measurable solutions that build safer and more resilient communities.

We stay actively engaged in Albany’s neighborhoods by walking alongside families, collaborating closely with local schools, assisting during emergencies, and through tragedy.

We take steps toward prevention by intervening early with youth, offering trauma-informed support, providing education, mentorship, and building networks that address the root causes of violence before harm occurs.

We create pathways by connecting organizations to resources to execute workforce development, mental health support, mentorship, and leadership opportunities that move our community citizens from crisis to stability and from stability to long-term success.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Cocoa on the Move, in partnership with WE ARE REVOLUTIONARY, is a mobile after-school program that offers free hot cocoa, youth activities, and resource help near schools in areas with frequent shootings. It aims to keep students safe, lower after-school conflicts, and connect young people to support through peer support, games, and regular visits.
